The Bill (Reg. No. 4345) determines the basic areas of volunteering, forms of its governmental assistance, rights and obligations of the volunteers, etc.
The Committee members stated that the Bill envisaged a possibility of independent volunteering activity, or conclusion of the agreement between a volunteer and a volunteering organization or institution willing to attract a volunteer.
The Committee members believe that adoption of the Bill will regulate volunteering in Ukraine, and determine the legal status of volunteers and sources of funding of volunteering organizations.
